Thanks to Lindsay Olives, we recently had the chance to review a variety of delicious olives.
About Lindsay Olives:
"At Bell-Carter Foods, the same values of Arthur and Henry Bell established nearly a century ago still hold true today—our people are our culture.
Our consistent high standards have attracted a loyal and dedicated workforce that’s always striving to create a better company, while having fun along the way. We understand that the olive business is about much more than just a can of olives. We know that you need to count on us to give you a delicious and superior quality product, every time.
Although we’ve grown in size, we are still a family run business that will never forget its roots. Roots that run deep and wide with the way we care about our employees, the community that supports us, our precious environment, and the olive trees that our growers harvest. And just like the olive tree, we believe in taking our time as we grow to ensure we never lose sight of our values.
Now, through the Lindsay Brand name, our mission at Bell-Carter is to share our enthusiasm and passion for this wonderfully versatile fruit with you. We would love for you to join us in our quest to “Savor Olive Life.”

About the 4 varieties of olives we reviewed:
From small to colossal, with pits or without, chopped or sliced…there’s a Lindsay Black Ripe olive to please every palate. Bursting with delicious flavor, enjoy them solo as a perfect snack, or as the perfect ingredient in your favorite dish.
-Green Ripe California Medium Pitted Olives
The Green Olive that's nothing like you’d expect! Unlike their tart Spanish Green cousins and more like their mellow California Black Ripe siblings, Lindsay’s latest masterpiece, California Natural Green Ripe olives, have a unique nutty and buttery flavor that will melt in your mouth and satisfy your craving.-Large Pitted Olives
Large as Life. For a snack tray or a snack-a-day, grab a few whenever life calls for olives. Re-close the lid and refrigerate. You don’t have to eat them all at once. But you could.
-Italian Seasoned Large Pitted Olives
Ciao, bella. Say hello to the delicious flavors of Italy, for a snack or recipe. Then say goodbye for the moment and refrigerate. Thanks to the re-closeable lid, you can revisit these beauties daily.
What we thought: Olives are one of our family's favorite foods. Actually they are little D's absolute favorite food:) Being the olive connoisseurs that we are, we are kinda picky about which brands we buy. Lindsay has always been our number one choice and since trying even more of their delicious types of olives, I think they will remain in the number one spot for quite a while:) We add olives to our meals at least twice a week, usually more often than that and we eat them for snack quite often as well. We put olives in salads, tacos, burritos, pasta dishes, casseroles, cocktails...you name it we probably like olives in it:) We usually prefer black to green olives, but since trying Lindsay's Green Ripe Naturals, I think we've found a new favorite. We expected a briny green olive taste, but were pleasantly surprised by the nutty, buttery flavor of the Naturals. YUMMO!! It was also our first experience with the resealable containers and they were pretty handy. Occasionally, we have leftover olives and usually use a plastic container to store them in the fridge, but with the resealable containers, there is no need to dirty up extra dishes. The containers keep the olives as fresh and tasty as they are upon first opening them. The Italian Seasoned Olives were also new to us, but they were pretty yummy and a great addition to the salad we added them to. The Lindsay website has a ton of great recipes and resources as well. Definitely a fun place for a foodie like myself:) If you can't tell already...ABCD Diaries gives Lindsay Olives an A+!

I love Lindsay Pitted California Ripe Olives (we always eat black olives, so I don't think I'd even want to try green olives). I keep Lindsay olives on hand in the pantry because it's so easy to throw together an appetizer tray or to make a meal seem more elegant just by opening a can of Lindsay olives.
