I love giving kiddos presents that are educational, engaging and encourage creativity. It's a huge plus if these toys can also be well-made and can stand the test of time. HABA toys do all of those things and always exceed my expectations.
We recently got to try out a Master Builder Architectural Set. The kiddos decided they'd like to try their hand at constructing a Russian Cathedral:

This set combines many of the domes and arches that Russian czars and religious leaders used in constructing buildings in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The wooden blocks are solid and sanded to a smooth perfection making them easy and fun to build with. This set has 16 different shapes and 55 pieces. The kiddos have built the design on the packaging and experimented with other variations of Russian architecture. They are really enjoying their building set from HABA!
