This concept is really interesting to me. I love the idea of being able to use one ball over and over, and then letting the sun recharge it naturally so that it can be used for several months. It's very budget-friendly and Earth-friendly. Plus, since it doesn't use any dyes or perfumes, it's safe to use on everyone's clothing. It does seem to provide clean results, but I must admit, I miss the smell of "clean" laundry. I know clean doesn't have to have a smell to actually be clean, but I still enjoy the subtle scent of citrus or lavender in my laundry. I started adding essential oils to the wash and voila, wonderfully smelling, clean laundry:)
