Don't Forget the Duracell Batteries this Holiday Season! #PowerTheHolidays

**Complimentary products received in exchange for out honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone.  This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Duracell.**

'Tis the season to stock up on batteries!  As you probably know, there are so many reasons to make sure you have plenty of AA batteries on hand during the season of decorating, entertaining, gift giving and winter weather.

 We especially love Duracell batteries.

Why Duracell?

"Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose alkaline batteries are not only dependable, they’re also long-lasting. You can take comfort in a 10-year guarantee in storage with Duralock Power Preserve Technology. They’re great for many of the devices you use on a daily basis in your home. And from storm season to medical needs to the holidays, Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand of first responders, pharmacists and parents, so you know it’s a battery you can trust. CopperTop batteries are available in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V."

We really need to have dependable batteries on hand all year, but it seems as if we go through a lot more around the holiday season.  Between our mantlepiece wreath that we have lit up with a string of sparkly white lights with a battery pack and the numerous amount of musical ornaments and set-abouts, many of our holiday decorations need battery power.  It definitely puts a damper on things when the holiday lights don't light up or the upbeat Christmas carols in the ornaments become super slow-mo requiems:)

Another reason we keep Duracell batteries on hand this season is for the battery-operated gifts our kiddos are sure to receive.  What a disappointment to open a gift that needs batteries that you don't have on Christmas morning when not one store in town is open for business.  Talk about Debbie Downer!  Why not throw a four pack of Duracell batteries in each stocking this year?  You know you're gonna need them!

Finally, this winter weather!  Ever had a power outage and reached for the emergency flashlight only to find it needed new batteries?  Yep, been there:)  Now we keep a pack of Duracell batteries in the draw with the emergency flashlight so that will will always have light when the power fails.

Be prepared to Power the Holidays with dependable Duracell batteries this holiday season!

Holiday Entertaining with SUPERPRETZEL Bavarian Soft Pretzel Rolls and Sticks #Spon

**Complimentary products received in exchange for out honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

We recently had the chance to review SUPERPRETZEL Soft Bavarian Pretzel Rolls and Sticks:

SUPERPRETZEL® Bavarian Soft Pretzel Rolls and Sticks are Old World style soft pretzel breads made with premium ingredients.

These restaurant style soft pretzel sticks and rolls are versatile, fully baked, and ready from the microwave in seconds. They’re the perfect side to any soup, salad, or entree.

We baked our pretzel rolls and sticks in the oven (we are microwave-free these days:) and they came out super moist and soft with the perfect amount of chewiness.  They would be great paired with soup or salad.  The rolls would make fun little finger sandwiches for holiday party trays.  We sampled our pretzels with an artichoke olive dip and they were wonderful!

They received rave reviews from everyone who tried them.  I think they may be making an appearance on our holiday table this year.  A fun, tasty and unique addition for sure!

Easy Slice/Grate Set @Kyocera - Foodie Gift Idea! #Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide

**Complimentary products received in exchange for out honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

We recently had the chance to review the Kyocera 6-Piece Easy Slice/Grate Set.

"Kyocera’s handy six-piece set equips you with everything you need for a variety of slicing and grating tasks. The three color-coded tools are ideal for using over bowls, plates, or the container for quick jobs. They're also designed to fit securely on top of the container lid, which doubles as a vessel for collecting and measuring food. Perfect for cabbage, carrots, cucumber, onions, potatoes, daikon, ginger, hard cheese and more.

Features:

• Set of three tools with plastic container and hand guard. Includes: adjustable slicer (black), julienne slicer (red), and coarse grater (green)

• Easy to use Adjustable Mandolin: turn dial on back for four different thickness settings

• Lid and bottom serves as a container for collecting and storing food

• Handles provide a comfortable grip while grating or slicing

• Ultra sharp, durable ceramic blades won’t rust or brown foods

• Included hand guard holds food securely and protects fingers

• Foods glide effortlessly through the sharp, ceramic blade

•Use the corner notches to fit the slicer on top of most bowls

• Perfect for cabbage, carrots, cucumber, onions, potatoes, daikon, ginger, and more

I loved the julienne blade and the mandolin blade.  Our test subject was a bell pepper, but we've also used this tool on carrots, onions, squash and cucumber.  The julienne blade is great for creating perfectly sized salad toppings.

I love that the mandolin has different settings so that you can change up the thickness of your cut depending on your recipe.  It would be great for slicing up potatoes to make a healthy version of chips!

The set fits nicely back together in one piece which makes for super slim and easy storage.

This Slice/Grate Set is a wonderful multi-purpose kitchen tool that any foodie would love this holiday season!
