Francisco Rinaldi Sauce Review and Giveaway...

Thanks to LiDestri Foods, we recently had the chance to review some really yummy sauces!

LiDestri Foods and Francesco Rinaldi: A family history
"Our family has a long history of preparing and selling pasta sauce. What began as a door-to-door operation in 1937, eventually grew into one of the biggest brands in the category-the Ragu packing company.
Mr. Ralph Cantisano sold Ragu in 1970, paving the way for an exciting new partnership. Together with several former Ragu employees, including Mr. John LiDestri, Ralph Cantisano founded Cantisano Foods.
In 1982, Mr. Edward P. Salzano, joined Cantisano Foods, bringing with him the Francesco Rinaldi name. It wasn't long before homes all across the country were choosing Francesco Rinaldi for its restaurant-quality authentic Italian flavor, while recognizing it as a great value in the pasta sauce category. Following Mr. Cantisano's retirement in 1998, the LiDestri family took on an ever-increasing role within the management of the company. In 2002, Mr. Cantisano's family business was passed on to his extended family of nearly 30 years--and Cantisano Foods name was officially changed to LiDestri Foods.
Today, LiDestri Foods, and its proprietary label, Francesco Rinaldi, are a multi-million-dollar manufacturing and packaging business. But it doesn't matter how far we've come, because we're still really good at making what you like…pasta sauces that please the palate."

What we thought: Yummo!! We are a pasta-loving family...some type of pasta with red sauce is on the menu at least once a week. We are pretty picky about our red sauce though. Most canned/jarred sauces are too sweet for our taste. We were super excited to get to try Francisco Rinaldi sauces and we were very impressed by the taste of these sauces. We tried a Diavolo sauce, which was a little spicy for the kiddos, but oh so yummy!! B usually has to add spices to jarred red sauce to make it taste the way we like it, but we didn't have to add anything to this sauce! The new ToBe Healthy sauces were pretty delicious as well...we tried Garden Vegetable and the kiddos were delighted with the big chunks of veggies in this yummy sauce. The best part...it didn't taste healthified! Francisco Rinaldi sauces will definitely be part of our red sauce rotation from now on:) ABCD Diaries gives LiDestri Foods and Francisco Rinaldi sauces an A+!!

What we thought: I loved the variety of flavors Zevia offers. When we drink soda, it is usually either Coke, Dr. Pepper or Big Red, but every now and then I get a craving for the fruity flavors of orange and black cherry soda. Zevia is a diet soda and you can tell it isn't sweetened by sugar, but not to the degree some diet soda are artificially sweetened. I think if we were diet soda drinkers, we would probably prefer one sweetened with stevia because, to us, it tastes closer to sugar than other sweeteners we've tried. Zevia sodas are also great as mixers when you're whipping up your favorite cocktail and don't want the extra calories:) If you drink diet soda and prefer a more natural sweetener, Zevia is the soda for you...and hey, with the holiday season approaching, it might not be a bad idea to keep a few diet sodas on hand for your guests:) ABCD Diaries gives Zevia a B+!

What we thought: D loves his rain coat:) He thinks the sports theme is "cool" and says it feels "soft" inside. We got a size bigger than he usually wears so it would fit under both lightweight and bulky clothes and it seems to fit well over everything. It is very well made and easy to care for. What we thought: Both A and I really loved our Undertease. The idea is to layer these, but I just want to mention that they both looked really great on their own, which makes them even more valuable. A said she loved that her pink long-sleeved Mini-Q was so soft and so pretty and pink:) It will be great when winter rolls around...she will still be able to wear her favorite summer tees and jumpers with her Mini-Q underneath. I am in love with my Suzy-Q cami. It is, as A previously mentioned, super soft and comfy. The material is really lightweight and breathable, so I can use it for layering all year long. Our Undertease fit really well. They have a smooth, seamless look...no bunching up underneath when layered, and they are the perfect length to cover what needs to be covered:) I was really surprised by the variety of styles and colors I found on the Undertease site. Along with the Suzy-Q and Mini-Q lines, they also have the classic, signature line, a plus size line and even a maternity line! I wish I would have known about Undertease during those last few weeks of pregnancy when EVERYTHING seemed too short and uncomfortable...I would have lived in an Undertease:) ABCD Diaries gives Undertease an A+!
