What we thought: The kiddos really enjoyed this kit! We read the book before watching the DVD and finally listened to the CD. I really liked how well the three formats pulled together to teach the lesson. All three encouraged the kiddos to move around and listen and they had a blast! When we can find an educational tool that makes learning fun for our kiddos, we are sold and we have been big fans of the Baby Einstein line since the kids were babies. I really like how these kits come in different stages for the different developmental milestones all babies and toddlers need to attain. Another reason I love the variety of formats for each lesson is because different kids learn differently...with the three ways to reinforce the teaching, the more likely the little ones are to "get it."

What we thought: We really enjoyed the items from Night Owl Paper Goods. I have never before seen cards like the ones they sent us! They look and feel like wood, but are somewhat bendable and completely unique! They are really neat and I'm sure anyone who received one would feel quite special:) The sayings are adorable and super cutesy nature themes reign at Night Owl Paper Goods. What we thought: These caramels were truly unique and delicious. The flavor pairings were really great...who knew a Red Hot or Strawberry caramel could taste so good! The Fleur de Sel was my favorite...I am quite a fan of the salty sweet combination:) The kids really enjoyed sampling each caramel and guessing the flavors. What we thought: D has had a lot of fun with these letters. We got his middle name, DANGER, spelled out in dinosaur letters and contemplated sticking them up in his room as a permanent decoration. After seeing how much fun he had playing with them, however, we decided to affix magnets on the back of them so he could continue to play with them on the fridge. He is 2 and learning to spell his name so this really helps from an educational aspect as well as an entertainment aspect:) The letters are super durable...hello, they have been manhandled by a toddler boy since for several weeks now and they are still in like new condition. Plus, they are really easy to clean which is great since, again, they are handled by a toddler boy every day:) Just wipe with a damp cloth and they are good to go! What we thought: I fell in love with this cardigan as soon as I took it out of the pacakging. It is so soft and silky to the touch, but has just the right amount of weight to it. The cardigan looked really great with a tank underneath and worked with both lounge pants and jeans. The gorgeous trim was the perfect accent to dress up any outfit:) I really felt great while wearing this cardigan...it was comfy and chic, which is usually a difficult combo to come by. Doie Designs has some really lovely designs to choose from, all of which are Earth-friendly and stylish. I'm guessing even the dressier peices would be super comfy. I LOOOOVE clothes that I can "live" in while still looking cute:) Doie Designs nailed it! ABCD Diaries gives Doie Designs an A+!

What we thought: This is a must-have for every parent! It is definitely one of the best resources you could have when raising small children. It is overflowing with information on pretty much everything you could possibly need to ask your pediatrician, but unlike most pediatricians, this book is on call 24/7:) This book will definitely give you peace of mind when you aren't able to consult your child's doctor, especially since it is written by the amazing and quite knowledgeable Sears family.
