This is a great set for kiddos who like to build and create.  It contains 100 easy-to-connect pieces and 24 cards with simple plans for building.  

The cards feature step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow.  

This set also contains a stand to help prop the instruction cards up for easy reference while building.

Both kiddos really enjoyed playing with this set.  I love that it includes so many idea cards.  Once they got the hang of building with the plans, they were able to make hybrid creations and some of their very own free-building led to some pretty imaginative pieces:)

In honor of February being National Hot Breakfast Month, we recently had the chance to review Krusteaz breakfast bread mixes:

Have you ever been in a dinner rut?  One thin I do when I'm short on time and ingredients is declare the evening "Breakfast for Dinner Night" and this meal is often one of the kiddos favorites:)  It really helps speed things up when I have great boxed mixes on hand to help!  Krusteaz offers up a variety of really tasty options from pancakes to waffles to muffins.  

Both of my kiddos love to help in the kitchen and these mixes were super easy and perfect for little helping hands.  A decided to make mini muffins with the Chocolate Chunk Muffins.  She added about a half cup of coconut to the mix (one of the add ins suggested on the box) and they were delicious!

D helped whip up the pancake batter.  We did one batch of Buttermilk and one batch of Honey Wheat.  We really enjoyed them both!

The pancake mixes are so simple...just add water and you've got a delicious batter ready to go.  The pancakes cook up nice and even with a really nice fluff to them.

We added a little bacon and eggs and enjoyed the fruits of the kiddos' labor:)
