GLAD "Less Plastic" Products Review...

We were sent a variety of GLAD bags to review along with this counter top compost canister which fit the new compostable/biodegradable bags from GLAD perfectly!  These bags make composting easier than ever!

The Tall Kitchen Bags and the Force Flex bags were super strong and the combination of the Odor Shield technology and the added fresh scent of Febreze made taking out the trash a lot more pleasant on our noses:)

Crofter's Organic Fruit Spreads Review and Giveaway...

What we thought:  We recently had the chance to try Crofter's Organic fruit spreads.  I love that the ingredient lists are so simple and all of the ingredients are recognizable and pronounce-able:)  The spreads are terrific and full of fruity goodness.  They were great on both biscuits and toast and the kiddos really enjoyed them with peanut butter as well.  We love treating ourselves to organic goodies whenever possible and Crofter's spreads will be a staple on our grocery list:)  ABCD Diaries gives Crofter's Organic an A+!

Hidden Valley for Everything Review...

What we thought:  We sampled the Hidden Valley for Everything in the original flavor and Salsa Ranch and both were a huge hit!  They both were perfect for dipping and for using as a spread on burgers and sandwiches.  We don't eat very much ketchup in our house, but we do use a lot of Ranch dressing.  We are very happy to have a thicker option for dipping than dressing without compromising the delicious Hidden Valley flavor we love:)  Anything that gets the kiddos to eat more veggies gets two thumbs up from me:)  ABCD Diaries gives the new Hidden Valley for Everything an A+!

What we thought: We really enjoyed the fruity flavors of Welch's filled licorice!  The strawberry was our favorite, but both flavors brought smiles to everyone who was lucky enough to taste them:)  The package is big enough to share and the price is just right.  If you are a fan of chewy, fruity candy, this new twist on licorice is sure to be a hit!  ABCD Diaries gives Welch's Filled Licorice an A+!

The pair cited irreconcilable creative differences, which has been confirmed by statements from each party suggesting that Mike and Ike will stop collaborating on their famous fruit chewy candies.

The news of split has caused people to be overcome with disbelief. Therefore, the company has launched the “Tell Us Your Reaction” contest to run from now through June 26^th, 2012.

Entrants must create and submit a video that demonstrates their reaction to the MIKE AND IKE® split. This could show surprise, sadness, disbelief, happiness or whatever emotional reaction the news of the MIKE AND IKE® split evokes. The reaction video should have a maximum running time of 90 seconds.

One first prize winner will received an Apple iPod Touch and a MIKE AND IKE® t-shirt. Four second prize winners will each receive an Apple iPod Shuffle and a MIKE AND IKE® t-shirt. Fifteen third prize winners will each receive a case of MIKE AND IKE® candy and a MIKE AND IKE® t-shirt.
