**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

Get a whiff of one of summer's hottest toys: Whiffer Sniffers!

What are Whiffer Sniffers?  Whiffer Sniffers are amazingly scented collectible plush characters with personality and charm. Each character’s scent matches their appearance.  The strawberry smells like strawberries, the popcorn smells like popcorn, etc.   The fragrances are produced in the U.S., so you know they’re good.  In fact, they’re so good that they will last for at least a year.

Whiffer Sniffers come in several fun sizes: a huggable super size, a backpack clip that lets you take your scented friends with you, as well as in collectible scratch 'n' sniff stickers.

There are also exclusive characters only found inside specially marked mystery packs. The Whiffer Sniffers have built a craze as the ultimate fun and friendly scented collector’s item.

Our kiddos loved them all, especially the Mystery Packs!  They got a Watermelon plush and a rare Bubblegum plush in their Mystery Packs and couldn't have been more excited!

Each Whiffer Sniffer comes with a card full of fun facts about the characters personality making it fun to collect them all!

It's no wonder kids love these adorable little plushies, they smell great!  I know I'm keeping an eye out for the Dill Pickle Whiffer Sniffer...MMMMM!

Dive Into Cool Summer Reading with Nat Geo Kids! + Giveaway

**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

Releasing just in time for summer trips to the aquarium, the beach and, of course, Disney Pixar's Finding Dory, Nat Geo Kids Books is debuting two titles that encourages kids to "dive in" and learn all about the REAL characters from the hotly anticipated movie.

As lovers of all things related to the ocean, we were SUPER excited to review these books!

Ocean Animals: Who's Who in the Deep Blue ($12.99, ages 8-12) is an oversized book and it needs to be!  Featuring huge, stunning underwater photographs this book covers it all -- from life in coral reefs to sharks and rays, to bizarre creatures of the deep and even sea birds -- and all the favorites from Finding Dory including, sea lions, octopus, beluga whales, whale sharks and of course clown fish and Dory herself -- blue tangs!

As to be expected, this book was full of visually stunning ocean photography and tons of great information!

This book will be a great resource for years to come!

My kiddos are always up for an activity book and since they have a little more free time during summer, this book was perfect:

Ocean Animals Sticker Activity Book (ages 4-8, $6.99) has over 1,000 cool stickers of the most popular, adorable, ferocious and weird ocean animals, like dolphins, coral, fish, sea turtles, seals and more. Also included are skill-building puzzles and mazes, spelling and pattern games, drawing, photos, facts, and other activities that will keep kids you entertained (and learning) for hours on end. Perfect for road trips and plane rides!

Pack full of super fun and stimulating activities, this book would be great for road trips or those hot summer afternoons when the kiddos want to stay inside and cool off.

We really enjoyed both of these Nat Geo Kids books and the adorable Dory plushie and thanks to Nat Geo Kids, one lucky reader will get to share this prize pack with their kiddos this summer!

We are giving away a "Dive Into Summer" Prize Pack consisting of one copy of Ocean Animals: Who's Who in the Deep Blue, one copy of Ocean Animals Sticker Activity Book and a Dory plushie!

Book Review: Little Girl Gone by Gerry Schmitt

**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

I recently had the chance to review Little Girl Gone by Gerry Schmitt:

About the book:
In the first Afton Tangler thriller, the unforgiving cold of a Minnesota winter hides the truth behind an even more chilling crime…

On a frozen night in an affluent neighborhood of Minneapolis, a baby is abducted from her home after her teenage babysitter is violently assaulted. The parents are frantic, the police are baffled, and, with the perpetrator already in the wind, the trail is getting colder by the second.

As family liaison officer with the Minneapolis P.D., it’s Afton Tangler’s job to deal with the emotional aftermath of terrible crimes—but she’s never faced a case quite as brutal as this. Each development is more heartbreaking than the last and the only lead is a collection of seemingly unrelated clues.

But, most disturbing of all, Afton begins to suspect that this case is not isolated.  Whoever did this has taken babies before—and if Afton doesn’t solve this crime soon, more children are sure to go missing . . .

My thoughts:
Little Girl Gone is a keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller.  I found it hard to put this one down.  Chapter after chapter you delve deeper into the unnerving world of these murderous kidnappers;  you get totally sucked in!  If you are a fan of mystery/thrillers, Little Girl Gone won't disappoint:)

Get Your Summer Glow On with NeoCell!

**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

I have been using these NeoCell products for the last few weeks and have been pretty impressed with the results.

The Biotin Bursts are my favorite since they are a tart fruity chew, they are a little more pleasant to take:)

The Glow Matrix pills are great too, but large and a single serving is three, which is a lot to swallow.

The Derma Matrix is a powder you mix with water and doesn't taste terrible, but it's just not as good as the candy-like Biotin Bursts:)

The added boost of biotin, collagen and vitamins and minerals has left my skin glowing, my nails strong and my hair shiny.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this NeoCell experience!

Book Review: Wings of Fire Legends: Darkstalker by Tui T. Sutherland

**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

We recently had the chance to review Wings of Fire Legends: Darkstalker by Tui T. Sutherland:

About the book:
Before the battle of the SandWing queens; before the prophecy and the dragonets sent to save Pyrrhia from endless war; a long, long time ago ... evil was born.

In alternating chapters, this Wings of Fire special edition takes readers back to the very beginning, when powerful, mythical dragons Clearsight, Fathom, and Darkstalker—the most dangerous dragon of all—were just dragonets. When the future was bright and uncertain, when no one had been betrayed or had their heart broken.

This is the origin story that changes everything.

Our thoughts:
The kiddos really enjoyed this book!  Having never read any of the Wings of Fire books before, we weren't sure if we could just jump right in to the series, but you definitely can.  This book gives lots of info on the beginning of the series and could be considered aa prequel of sorts.  Wings of Fire Legends: Darkstalker would make a great summer read for kiddos reading at a 3rd grade reading level and up.  It is a bit of a long read (400 pages) but we read it during read aloud time and the adventure is so fast paced, the kids didn't get bored.  In fact, it was one of those "just one more chapter, pleeeeeease?" books:)
