We recently had the chance to review a couple of Tonewood products:
Maple sugar is a very versatile ingredient and can be used in a variety of ways to enhance the flavor of your food. Tonewood features many different forms of maple sugar to make it easy to add a little flavor to your menu! We tried the Maple Cream and the Maple Seasoning.
The Maple Cream is a lusciously smooth spread that tastes amazing on biscuits, toast and pancakes. It would also be a yummy topping for waffles! It is a truly decadent way to enjoy maple sugar!
The Maple Seasoning is a mixture of maple sugar, sea salt, garlic and red and black pepper. We've tried this sprinkled on eggs and it was delicious! It's a bit sweet at the beginning, but as the flavor develops you get a nice peppery flavor which is so tasty! I'm pretty sure this would make a great seasoning for pork...a bit sweet and a bit spicy:)
