We recently had the chance to review the May Loot Crate:

Each month, Loot Crate has a theme and for May the theme was "Adventure."  Our crate included goodies from Zelda, Adventure Time and Minecraft along with a few other treats thrown in for good measure:)  The Zelda tee is awesome and brings back memories of hours spent adventuring with Link:)  D loved the Adventure Time collectible tin/figurine along with the Minecraft hanger collectible and the mystery of not knowing which character was going to be inside of either package.  

The stickers from Maker and Polaris were super cool, as were the tats from Markiplier.
The Friend Zone soundtrack was a great and entertaining listen and the "Dangerous to go Alone" bottle openers are a sweet throwback as well!

It's really cool how much support Loot Crate gives to up and comers and their fans.  Another super awesome feature is the online magazine that we were emailed when our crate arrived.  It gives a ton of cool backstory about the featured items and contributors...pretty neat stuff!

At just under $20 per month, this is a fantastic value for the gamer in your life, even if that gamer may be you:)  Loot Crate would make a fantastic Father's Day gift if your dad is a gamer!

This tea is from tea blender Bissell. It is a mouthwatering peach tea and tastes distinctly of passion fruit and, well,  peach.  This was great warm and iced...the perfect fruity tea for summer!

Red Rose Rooibos

Red Rose Rooibos from Tiesta Teas has recently been re-blended to incorporate fruity hints and a floral finish.  Another super summer tea!

 Spring Kiss

Sonnentor’s Spring Kiss, with mint, licorice and gentle touch of lemon is crisp and refreshing, really reminiscent of warmer Spring weather.  This tea was fantastic iced!

 Treasures of Japan

Aromatica Teas offers up this expertly blended tea, Treasures of Japan, blending five elite Japanese green teas together to make one exquisite brew! 

We really enjoyed sampling all of these wonderful teas!  The folks at Tea Sparrow really know how to find the best of the best:)

Kitten Caboodle & Diggity Dog Card Games from Educational Insights #Giveaway #Sponsored

We recently had the chance to review Kitten Caboodle and Diggity Dog, two of the newest card games from Educational Insights!

Both of these games play the same way, you can choose which you like based on your kiddos preference for either cats or dogs:)  This is a "Go Fish" type game where you try to get 3 necessities in order to adopt a puppy or kitten.  Each pet needs a different trio of items to be adopted.  The person who adopts the most pets wins!  

This game is for 2-4 players and is rated for preschoolers, though my 5 and 8 year olds LOVE it!  It helps them to develop matching skills and counting skills and encourages social skills, turn-taking and good sportmanship.

The pets that are featured o the cards are real-life fur babies who were adopted from animal shelters and they are adorable.  The game provides a bit of background infomration for each critter and the kiddos loved reading all about them:)

These are super fun games that can be played fairly quickly and would be great as summer fun for your kiddos!
