End of Summer Fun with Young Scientists Club Slime, Gel and Goop Kit!

*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Young Scientists Club for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

As homeschoolers, we are always looking for educational, hands-on projects to help make learning more fun.  Concepts tend to stick better for my tactile learners when they can be explored through hands-on activities.

The Magic School Bus kits from Young Scientists Club are an awesome resource for entertaining and engaging projects that encourage learning..and your kiddos may not even realize the valuable lessons they are learning because they will be having so much fun!  What better way to wrap up summer than with some Slime, Gel and Goop fun?!

Most of the materials you will need are provided in the box...you may need to grab a few items from the store, but for the most part any items not included, you probably already have lying around the house.

The instruction manual is very thorough with plenty of pictures.  The experiments are laid out with easy to follow directions, backstory on what you will be learning, and space to fill in your hypothesis, results and conclusions.  This is great for teaching the scientific method.  There is space in the back of the book to help you figure out what to put in these blanks if you need a little help.

There is a handy dandy materials sheet in case you are confused at what something may be called...great for younger learners.

Each of the main members of the Magic School Bus cast gets at least one experiment or game to help teach your kiddos the lessons.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Wanda's Experiment #2 using water absorbing crystals:

Carlos' Experiment #2 using jiggly marbles

Jyoti's Experiment #2 using gel crystals

 Arnold's Experiment using snow polymer

Tim's Experiment #1 making goop

Carlos' Experiment #1 making slime

The back of the booklet also contains info straight from the desk of Ms. Frizzle.  It gives additional information and the link to the site where you can ask any questions you may have.

Our kit was fantastic!  The kids really had a great time learning about Slime, Gel and Goop through the super fun experiments and games.  These kits would be great for backyard learning fun this summer.  Young Scientists Club also has school and group packs that are perfect for classrooms, homeschooling coops, boys and girls scouts, birthday parties, and after-school programs and science clubs.
