#HealthyStart - Stay Fresh with Thinx Period Underwear!

*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Thinx for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

If you are looking to shrink your carbon footprint, detoxify your beauty routine, shave a little off your budget or any combination of those, you should look into Thinx period underwear!

Thinx are washable, reusable underwear designed to replace pads and tampons, or be worn with tampons and cups for extra protection on the days you need it.  They are made to look and feel like regular underwear and have a sneaky superpower...ultimate period protection!  They are super absorbent and are built to hold up to 5 regular tampons’ worth, without feeling bulky.  Super breathable cotton helps to draw away moisture and dry fast.  Check out a few of our favorite designs:

air Bikini

My absolute favorite is the air Bikini.  They are made from an ultra-thin micromesh that keeps things cool and dry.  These remind me of a seamless panty and can be worn with leggings and other close-fitting workout gear without adding bulk.  Love them!

Sport

I love this design because it is built specifically for ease of movement.  You can wear them with pretty much any thing and have zero restriction to your movement.  Perfect for working out and everyday wear!

Cotton Brief

These are super comfy!  Great for lounging or sleeping in.  They are more full coverage than the other two I tried, but still not overly bulky.  I really love the feel of cozy organic cotton!

All three pair work amazingly well and I am really excited be able to include them in my wardrobe this year!  What a great way to rid your beauty routine of toxins, reduce waste AND save money!  If you've been looking for an alternative to your current period protection, you should give Thinx a try!
