#HealthyStart - Young Mountain Tea: Delicious Loose-Leaf Teas from India and Nepal!

*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Young Mountain Tea for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

Drinking tea is a fantastic and easy way to jump start your health and wellness goals for 2021!  It contains so many health benefits...both physical and mental.  We enjoy drinking both hot and iced teas every day around here and we're always on the lookout for great new tea companies.  Young Mountain Teas is among our new favorite places to find authentic loose-leaf teas from India and Nepal.  Check out a few of our favorites:

Nepali Green Pearl is a fresh, strong organic green tea rolled into tight pearls. The tea makers at the Tinjure Cooperative carefully shape the leaf using heated pans, coaxing out a wide range of aromas and flavors that are best explored by steeping the same leaves at least twice.  This tea is from Ilam, Eastern Nepali Himalayas and offers tastes of smoked artichoke and Meyer lemons.  It is a very unique tea and quite refreshing!

Assam Black tea is India’s signature morning cup: strong, bold, and full-bodied enough to handle milk and sugar. It’s the classic tea used for chai and to craft Earl Grey. This tea is sourced from the Chardwar Estate, a garden leading India’s post-colonial approach to tea.  This is a fantastic black tea and works well hot or iced.  This tea is the perfect morning or afternoon pick-me-up cup!

Kumaon White is a fresh and bright organic white tea from one of India’s forgotten tea regions. This tea is harvested on small-scale farms in the early spring from bushes that are nearly 200 years old.  It is super light, refreshing and comforting...the perfect hot tea for chilly mornings!  It smells amazing and tastes terrific!

All of the teas we tried from Young Mountain Tea were fantastic!  They were authentic and delicious...making for a truly sensational cup of tea.  From the aroma to the taste, these teas were amazing!  Young Mountain Tea not only offers up wonderful teas, but in doing so they help small farmers in Nepal and India thrive.  We are huge fans of this lovely tea company and are so glad that Young Mountain Tea has become part of our daily tea time!
