We were lucky enough to get to visit Costa Rica in 2019 and we absolutely fell in love! It is a truly beautiful place full of amazing scenery, kind and generous people and delicious food! We loved the idea of "Pura Vida" and continue to try to bring some of the spirit to every day right here on the gulf coast of Texas. That's why we were super excited to get to try out Ricante's line of Everything Sauces!
Tropical Tamarindo Caribbean Jerk
Have you ever had a tamarind? The fruit is very acidic and works perfectly in this Tropical Tamarindo Caribbean Jerk Sauce! Tomatoes, celery, cilantro, chives, raisins and a few other choice ingredients give that Caribbean jerk flavor, making this sauce great for marinating and more!
This sauce kinda reminded me of a barbecue sauce and we loved it for basting and dipping!
Mango Coco
Mango, creamy coconut mixed with garlic, ginger, hints of passion fruit, orange juice and habaneros make this tasty sauce good on so much! We loved it as a marinade and glaze for grilled shrimp!
Tropical Pineapple Habanero
As the name states, this sauce is packed with pineapples and mangos. Add to the mix some olive oil, dill, garlic, turmeric, cilantro and habaneros for a spicy kick and yum! I want to put this on EVERYTHING! We loved it on a chicken breast we shredded up for taquitos!
Tropical Guanabana Chimichurri
Ever heard of guanabana? We live close enough to the border that we get to try a lot of these cool tropical fruits from Mexico and Central America and guanabana is one that we love! So sweet and creamy! Ricante combined guanabana, oranges and some habaneros to the classic South American chimichurri recipe, and now it's a versatile EVERYTHING Sauce. It's great to dip veggies in, use as a marinade or a yummy salad dressing. We loved it in our instant pot black beans!
