Honey Ridge Farms Review and Giveaway...

Thanks to Honey Ridge Farms, we recently had the opportuntiy to try out a sampling of their finest products, including 2 varieties of Honey Creme, a grilling sauce and a glaze.

About Honey Ridge Farms:
"A Family Business-
We believe honey is nature's best and most delicious sweetener. That's why we founded Honey Ridge Farms in 2004. We are located in Brush Prairie, WA and provide high-quality, all-natural specialty gourmet honeys and honey-based specialty foods. We're part of a long line of beekeepers; in fact, our son is a fifth-generation beekeeper who works alongside his grandfather tending hives. Our first artisan honey produced was Wild Blackberry from Washington and Oregon. Today we offer a variety of single-floral source artisan honeys from the western United States, as well as other all natural honey-based gourmet foods. Our award-winning Balsamic Honey Vinegar is truly unique and delicious - offering aged balsamic-style vinegar made entirely from honey. It's intriguingly complex flavor adds another dimension to salads, sauces and marinades. We sell a wide selection of fruit and spiced honey crèmes, honey-based vinegars, grilling sauces and honey glazes. You can buy our products from our website, from various online retailers, and at retail stores throughout the country. Honey Ridge Farms was built upon offering the highest quality and value in its specialty gourmet honeys. We are dedicated to sourcing these premium honeys by supporting local artisan beekeepers from several states. We now offer three varieties of honey from the Pacific Northwest – Wild Blackberry, Star Thistle and Pumpkin Blossom. California varieties include Black Button Sage and Orange Blossom."

Apricot Honey Creme:
"This smooth, creamy spread with subtle notes of fragrant apricot is a customer favorite. Produced by Honey Ridge Farms, our honey crèmes are blended with the highest-quality fruits and spices. These honey crèmes are never cooked. This retains the natural goodness of the fruit and honey in a smooth, spreadable blend. Slather on warm buttered toast, scones, muffins, pancakes and waffles. Add it to hot coffees and teas. An ideal hostess present, teacher treat or gift for the food lover in your life."

Spiced Honey Creme:
"A delicious blend of pure creamed honey, cinnamon and additional spices. This popular honey crème produced by Honey Ridge Farms provides a touch of fall flavors to hot coffees and teas, gingerbread, muffins, quick breads and breakfast fare. Delicious mixed with cream cheese for a tasty topping for bagels, toast and cakes, or as a dip for apples."

Sweet Chili Honey Glaze:
"Enhance your cooking experience with our new all-natural, gluten-free honey glazes made from our artisan honey and the addition of healthy, fresh ingredients. Our Sweet Chili Honey Glaze is superb on poultry and seafood. Use as a marinade, glaze or an accompaniment sauce for your favorite dishes. Great for stir-frys. (On the spicy side.)"

Medium Honey Ridge Grilling Sauce:
"Our medium version combines sweet with a medium sting of spicy heat. An excellent choice for glazing ribs, beef, chicken and seafood. This sauce is our original version that many of you are loyal followers of."

What we thought: We really enjoyed each Honey Ridge Farms product we reviewed. We tried the Apricot Honey Creme on toast and ice cream. They consistency was creamy and the flavor was delicious. The Spiced Honey Creme was the perfect hot tea sweetner and made a great apple dipping sauce:) The Sweet Chili Glaze went on grilled chicken and was absolutely yummo, though a little too spicy for the kiddos. The Grilling Sauce was tasty as well...we used it on hamburgers, as steak sauce and as a chicken nugget dip. Honey Ridge Farms did not disappoint:) I love how each product we tried was so versatile and we really enjoyed experimenting with different ways to include these yummy additions to our meals. Honey Ridge Farms cremes, glazes and sauces added a little something extra and made the foods we used them in more memorable:) ABCD Diaries gives Honey Ridge Farms an A+!!
