Teach Children the Meaning of Easter With Egglo Glow-in-the-Dark Eggs! #Review

We were recently given the opportunity to review Glow in the Dark Egglo Eggs,

I don't know about you, but it seems to me that the holidays just keep getting more and more commercialized.  Each year it seems to be harder and harder to get the kiddos to understand the reason for the season, the true meaning of the holiday.   We had this issue at Christmas and we are seriously debating doing the 3-gift-Christmas next year to put a little more symbolism and meaning into the holiday and teach our kiddos to focus more on family and less on the glitz and glamour of every toy catalog or commercial they see.  Egglo Entertainment has the perfect solution for focusing kiddos on the true meaning of the Easter holiday!

Egglo Entertainment offers a line of products that will make teaching your kiddos about Easter a lot of fun.  The line includes glow-in-the-dark Easter eggs, a book, an audio book, Scripture Scrolls, stickers and more. You can buy all parts of the Egglo product line separately to cater to your needs.  These would be great for celebrating at home or larger celebrations at church or Sunday school, daycare, Vacation Bible School and more and they can be used year-round, which makes them a great investment. Egglo Entertainment products can be adapted to work with any age, but I would say ages 4-13 would be ideal so that the message gets across.  Of course, glow-in-the-dark eggs are fun for any age:)

Each box of eggs has 12 glow-in-the-dark eggs in bright Spring colors.  Charge them with the sun, a flashlight or any other light and they will stay bright enough to find in the dark. Ours stayed super bright for at least 30 minutes.  We put our eggs out in the sun in the afternoon and by the time it got dark, we were ready to rock!  You can use incandescent light as well, but sunlight is recommended for the best results.  There was residual glow for a really long time after the egg hunt, at least and hour or so!  We stuffed our eggs with jellybeans and Scripture Scrolls and the kiddos were delighted with both treats.  They loved the tiny little scrolls!  They are really cute miniature scrolls with shortened Bible verses on them.

The kiddos actually continued playing with even after the excitement of the egg hunt and the jellybeans wore off:)  Egglo Entertainment also makes stickers that the kiddos can use to decorate the eggs or anything else for that matter.  Cute stuff!

The book, The Egg-cellent Easter Adventure was great too.  It was a little long, (which is when the audio book comes in handy:) but had a great message.  The kids loved the vibrantly illustrated pages and the characters they could relate to and I loved that they connected the Easter egg hunt to the gospel of Jesus.  It kept the kiddos entertained for sure!

The program guide is downloadable and would be great for churches or group events. The guide has lots of ideas for activities, decorations, and snacks as well as instructions and printable favors.  You could easily use this curriculum guide to make your celebration of Easter one the kiddos will remember for all the right reasons:)

The Egglo Entertainment Pinterest site is full of fantastic ideas for celebrating the Easter season with family and other ways to use your glow-in-the-dark eggs.  I especially love the Easter egg wreath idea!
