We recently had the chance to review a Ball® Canning Discovery Kit and Blue Heritage Collection Pint Jars: 

I fell in love with these beautiful blue jars at first sight:)

Aren't they gorgeous!?  Not only are they a gorgeous way to store canned and dry goods, but they are pretty enough to drink out of and serve to guests!  What a great way to dress up a glass of sweet iced tea:)

The Canning Discovery Kit makes it easy for beginner canners or small-batch canners to get started with canning this season.  It comes with a basket with handle, 3 jars with rings and seals and a booklet with lots of great canning info and recipes.

Here is our set up for our small-batch strawberry jam canning session:

We used our Canning Discovery Kit and 3 of the blue Heritage Collection jars.  The basket was super easy to prep...just attach the handle and voila!  It fit 3 jars with plenty of space between them.  It fit into our canner (just a stock pot of boiling water:)  It was easy to remove after the water bath was complete.  This is a really great to that speeds up the process of removing the jars and keeps you from have to remove one at a time.
