Healthy Snacking with Black Jewell Popcorn!

We love popcorn around here, so we were excited to get the chance to try our several products from Black Jewell:

Upon first look, it was obvious that Black Jewell popcorn was absolutely gorgeous!  The beautiful kernels are a bit smaller than your typical yellow kernels and come in lovely shades of red, black and gold.  We popped our Black Jewell on the stove top and were super impressed with the results.  Everyone agreed that this was THE BEST POPCORN we've ever had!  The kiddos even said it was better than movie theater popcorn, which is a HUGE compliment:)  It seriously was amazingly delicious.

It is so flavorful and light!  I'm certainly glad it's a healthy snack, because we've been eating it every day:)

Here is the perfect stove top popcorn popping method we use:

Pour 2 Tbsp cooking oil of your choice into your pan (our favorite is coconut oil:) Add 2 or 3 kernels and heat over medium high heat. When these kernels pop, add 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels, or enough kernels to cover the bottom of your pan. When popping begins, cover and shake the pan occasionally. When popping has slowed almost to a stop, immediately remove the popcorn from the pan and pour into a large serving bowl. Season with salt and melted butter.
