We were sent the limited Aprile box which included the following items:
Frantoia Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Large bottle of extra virgin olive oil produced in the antique, cold-extraction tradition. Great for anything you'd use olive oil for, especially as the base for bread dip.
Arrabbiata Seasoning
A large bag of dry arrabbiata spice mix with garlic, basil, parsley and hot pepper. Makes anything tastes a little spicier:) Great blended with the above olive oil as a bread dip or sprinkled on top of any meal you'd like to add a flavorful kick to. So good!
Taggiasca Olive Spread
Olive spread made from brined black olives, a touch of extra virgin olive oil and salt, thyme and rosemary. Mixed with the above olive oil it makes a delicious bread dip. It can also be spread on bread or mixed with pasta for a simple yet tasty dish.
Castellino Marinated Grilled Green Olives
Grilled green olives without pits packed in sunflower oil and white wine vinegar. Eat as is, or mix with steamed vegetables for a great side dish. Perfect way to dress up a charcuterie board as well!
Prima Frutta Plum Fruit Spread
Plum jam made with only natural flavors and chunks of fruit — no artificial colors or preservatives. Perfect with breakfast toast or atop vanilla ice cream for dessert. Yummy!

We were pretty impressed with the items in our Aprile box from Gusto di Roma. The products were full-sized, not samples and the variety was lovely. The goodies were very high quality and items we might not be able to find locally, so that was pretty cool. We love trying new foods, especially global cuisine, so this box was a huge hit.
