Hard Candy Review...

Thanks to Hard Candy, we recently got to try out a few fun cosmetics. We were sent Glitteratzi Body Spray, Fortune Gloss and Hot Smudge Cream Eye Shadow. First up, the body spray:
They say:
Glitteratzi Body Spray
"The eye is naturally drawn to that which glitters, so why not attract some attention with a beautiful veil of metallic sparkles. Just a light spritz on shoulders adds sensual allure. Or, for all-out-glamour, mist your hair, arms or legs with a glittering glow."

We say:
Definitely glittery and sparkly, but also lightweight with a fairly quick drying time. I don't usually wear glitter, but next time I'd like to add a little sparkle, I'll be wearing my Glitteratzi. It can be found at Wal-Mart for $8. Next up, the lip gloss:

They say:
Fortune Gloss - Sweet & Shiny Lip Gloss
"Ask a question, apply a little gloss, then check the cap for your answer (Yes, No, Yum, Yuk, "?" or a heart!) Each gloss is shiny, yet sheer, and delicious."

We say:
This takes me back to the days of my youth and the Magic 8 Ball. Remember those? Well this gloss has a mini "predictor" in the cap and can tell you your future with each lip gloss application:) The gloss itself lives up to the claims of shiny, yet sheer and doesn't have the overly sticky texture of other lip glosses we've tried. It can be found at Wal-mart for $6.

We also tried the Hot Smudge Cream Eye Shadow, which I was a little afraid of at first because the colors were royal blue and sparkly white, but it actually looked quite nice and was easy to apply and blend to create either sharp contoured lines or that smoky bedroom eyes effect:) It can be found at Wal-Mart for $6.

Other products that looked pretty cool to me included:
Blush Crush - Baked Blush
"Our marbelized baked blush give your cheeks an all-over warmth and glow. Baked for eight hours, the texture is easy to blend and natural looking."
Just Nails with Ring
"The focus is on color! Put the final touch on fingertips and toes with a top-quality formula. The long-lasting, chip-resistant polish ensure flawless results with each application, and is DBP, toluene and formaldehyde free."
Eye Tattoo - Press-on Eye Shadow
"Revolutionary new one-size-fits-all mineral cream eye shadow appliqués. Designed by a celebrity make-up artist, the Eye Tattoo kit contains peel-off eye shadows that are 100% hypo-allergenic, long wearing, and crease-proof. Stunning colors and avant-guard designs, these appliqués fit every eye size and shape and can be applied in minutes. Each box contains 3 pairs of eye shadow appliqués, one jar of setting powder, and one powder application brush. Step-by-step instructions with application tricks and tips are also included."

Clearly, Hard Candy is geared towards the younger makeup wearing crowd, I'd say high school through college. The products are cutting edge, affordable and can all be easily found at your local Wal-Mart. ABCD Diaries gives Hard Candy cosmetics an A! Enjoy!!
