Smitty
Starring Peter Fonda, Mira Sorvino and Louis Gossett Jr., this heartwarming movie tells the story of thirteen-year-old Ben and his smart farm dog who helps teach Ben important life lessons about friendship, family and responsibility.  Rated PG//94 minutes




















Freddy Frogface
This animated film centers around ten-year-old Victor who can’t wait to perform in his town’s talent show with his dog Sausage. The town bully Freddy Frogface has a sinister plot to spoil Victor’s plans.  Rated PG/85 minutes














Donkey X
Based on the 400 year-old Spanish classic, Don Quijote de la Mancha, this animated film follows Rucio, the bravest donkey of Castile, as he tells the story of the legendary Don Quixote. Rated PG//90 minutes
 

What we thought:  We enjoyed all three of these DVDs.  Our favorite was the heart-warming story of Smitty:)  It was a feel-good movie the whole family enjoyed.  The kiddos laughed along with the animated Freddy Frogface and Donkey X.  I would recommend Donkey X for an older audience...my kiddos are 3 and 6 and there were a few references that are definitely for an older age-group, though overall it was a cute movie:)  ABCD Diaries gives Smitty, Freddy Frogface and Donkey X an A+!
