Gift Great Games This Easter with Goliath and Pressman! #spon

*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Goliath and Pressman for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

I love giving family-friendly board games as gifts and with Easter coming up, I thought we'd share a few of our favorites from Goliath and Pressman!

Rummikub

I have been playing Rummikub for years and I was so excited once my kiddos got old enough to play it too!  It's easy to learn and fast paced.  Rummikub is ideal for people of different ages to play together, and it’s great for a game night too. It reinforces STEM and STEAM concepts such as sequencing, pattern recognition, and planning skills.

Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs (consecutive numbers of the same color, like 2, 3, 4 in red) and groups (three or more of the same number in different colors, like a red 9, a blue 9, and a black 9), rummy style. It’s easy to learn, but packed with strategy–the “board” changes all the time as players adjust the tiles on the table. The Joker tiles add to the fun; they can be any color or number. The object is to be the first player to play every tile on your rack. Players keep track of who wins each round–the player who wins the most rounds wins this time-tested tile game.

For 2 or more players, ages 8 and up.

Charades for Kids
This classic game of charades is designed especially for kids to play and enjoy! With three levels of clues, kids of all ages can participate. Each card has a clue with a picture, so no reading is required (although the combination of the picture and its corresponding word reinforces early reading skills). Act out a toothbrush, a cat or a bumble bee! Older children can read the simple words and phrases and act out actions like eating spaghetti or playing guitar! This game is great for the whole family to play together.  Charades of Kids includes: 150 charade cards, sand timer, game die and complete instructions.

Fun for 3 or more players, ages 4 and up.

My kids love playing charades and this version is super kid-friendly even for younger kiddos.  A great addition to any family game night!

Pop the Pig®

Pop the Pig is an international classic that is adored by millions of children.  Kids spin the spinner, pop a hamburger into the pig’s mouth, then pump his head. The more they pump, the more his belly grows until . . . pop!

Kids love the suspense as they watch his belly grow; the player who makes his belly burst loses the game. Children can quickly reset this pig game with one pump of the pig’s head and experience consistent belly busting game-play each and every time. Pop the Pig provides hours of fun and is completely kid powered (no batteries needed). For added convenience, all pieces can be stored inside the pig.

For ages 4 and up, 2-4 players.

Even though this game is geared towards younger kids, my 9 and almost 12 year olds absolutely love it!  It's a super quick game to play and so much fun!
