*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Namaste Foods for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

Finding allergen-free baking mixes that actually taste good can sometimes be tricky.  Fortunately, we recently got to try some mixes from Namaste Foods and we were pleasantly surprised with how good they tasted.  We've tried a lot of gluten-free baking mixes and have found some duds.  Namaste Foods is a real game-changer!

Namaste Foods are made in a 100% dedicated gluten and allergen-free facility.  Their pasta meals, grab‘n go soups, pantry staples, baking mixes and coating mixes are free from the Top 8 Food Allergens.

Check out the goodies we received:

Organic Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix

These organic brownies are ooey, gooey fudgey and oh so delicious.  11-year-old A whipped them up for us for dessert and they were ahhh-mazing!  Super dark and moist...you can't tell the gluten is missing!

Check out the simple ingredient list:
Organic cane sugar, organic brown rice flour, organic cocoa (processed with alkali), organic tapioca starch, organic arrowroot powder, citrus fiber and salt.

 Spice Cake Mix

The aroma of this moist, scrumptious cake will make your mouth water but just wait until you taste it! Makes two 9" rounds!  This versatile mix is super easy to work with with.  It's a fantastic base cake and can easily be transformed into a delicious carrot cake.  Just add shredded carrot, currants or raisins and nuts, maybe a little cram cheese frosting...yum!

And another super simple ingredients list:
Cane sugar, sweet brown rice flour, brown sugar, tapioca starch, arrowroot powder, rice milk powder, citrus fiber, baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves.

Organic Tapioca Starch

Tapioca Starch is gluten-free and adds a lovely crisp texture and body to the crust of gluten-free breads. This is the perfect choice for your gluten-free recipes calling for tapioca starch/flour. Tapioca starch, has a slightly sweet flavor. Tapioca flour is an alternative to traditional wheat flours and has a variety of uses in baking. It is extremely soft and smooth, which makes for a great thickening agent. In a convenient re-sealable pouch!

Our favorite recipe to use tapioca starch in is Pao de Queijo, or Brazilian Cheese bread.  These puffs bake up crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.  They are absolutely divine!

Namaste Foods has a large selection of delicious allergen-free mixes that will shorten your time in the kitchen and give you more time to enjoy with your family.  You've gotta love that!

One lucky ABCD Diaries reader will win a prize package that includes a wonderful Namaste reusable grocery tote bag full of one Pasta Meal, one Baking Mix, one Coating Mix and one Soup Cup.
