Les Mess Review...

ABCD Diaries
2010 Holiday Gift Guide:
Kid's Stocking Stuffer

We recently had the chance to review a cute card game that helps kiddos learn how to organize their things and help with cleaning the house.

About Les Mess:
"Motivates your child (or children) to organize their room
Shows your child the benefit of cleaning up after themselves
With Les Mess, you will have Less Mess in your home.

Les Mess, organizing cards for kids (ages 5-12), will help get their room and your house organized and clutter-free. Shuffle the cards, pick one and do what is on the card. Each card has a time limit on it. If you finish in time you get a prize (Mom and Dad do this part), and there are cards with ideas of great prizes. These prizes do not bring more clutter into the house. These organizing cards teach children to put things away, what to keep and what to toss. They will learn through getting organized, how to sort and will create a habit of picking up every day. After all, isn’t teaching our kids how to be organized and clutter-free a part of being a parent…and sometimes learning should be fun too! It's NOT just a game, it's a way of life."

What we thought: We are a family of game lovers and we are constantly trying to find ways to make chores fun so our kiddos will be more inclined to help out around our home. This game is perfect for that! I especially love that the "rewards" are ideas for things that won't bring more clutter into your home:) The intensity of the chores and time limits can be adjusted to fit your child's age, but this game is perfect as is for kids from about 5ish to 12 or so:) The chores are basic jobs that pretty much every home will have. If you are looking for a little help around the house from your kid's, try Les Mess cards to get them interested in learning these habits that will last a lifetime! ABCD Diaries gives Les Mess an A+!
