Couples, Sweetheart:)

Looking for a sweet gift for a couple or you sweetheart? Look no further...the Twitten is here to help:)

THE TWITTEN STORY
"The Twitten has been 40 years in the making. For frigid University of Pennsylvania football games in the mid-sixties, Connie Kaiserman knit her first Twitten for Steve Robinson so they could hold hands during those tense fourth downs. Several decades and professions later Connie met Jennifer Isaacson who has spent a lifetime sourcing materials all over the world and designing everything from textiles to furniture. Together they launched the Twitten line.P.S. The Twitten worked. Connie and Steve are still together.

THE COMPANY
Twitten LLC is 100% women-owned and operated.

PRODUCTION
The Twitten, mittens and hats are all fair trade and hand made in Peru in by artisans whose work supports and sustains traditional communities.
THE BODHI FUND
"20% of all profits go to the Bodhi Fund.In 2003 Connie and Steve’s four year-old grandson Bodhi was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. Because bone marrow transplants are unavailable in the state of New Mexico where Bodhi lived, he and his family traveled to New York City where he underwent a bone marrow transplant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Today Bodhi is an energetic and irrepressible 11 year-old enjoying life with his younger sister and brother. The Bodhi Fund was created to support New Mexico families whose children are in desperate need of out-of-state cancer treatment. Administered by the New Mexico Community Foundation, the Bodhi Fund provides financial aid to cover mortgage, phone, car, utility and travel expenses at a moment when families are plunged into crisis, both emotionally and financially."

What we thought: The Twitten is an ADORABLE idea! What better way to warm things up with your significant other than to share a mitten! Our Twitten is super cute and fits both B and I perfectly even though our hands vary greatly in size. The Twitten is very well made and super cozy. I really love this idea as a gift, especially for couples, young and old...every couple could use the extra warmth(and spark:) the Twitten provides! Twitten also makes hats and texting mittens in some really cute color patterns! Plus, when you buy an item from Twitten you will get that warm, snuggly feeling in your heart since you know 20% of the proceeds go to an amazing cause!! Don't forget Twitten this holiday season...it would make a great stocking stuffer!! ABCD Diaries gives the Twitten an A+!
