Fresh Cab Kid and Pet-Safe Rodent Repellent #Review

ABCD Diaries was given samples for review purposes only. We were in no other way compensated. The opinions expressed in this post are ours and ours alone.

We recently had the chance to review earthkind's Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent:

"earthkind’s Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent, is a safe and effective way to rid your home and property of rodents. Made exclusively of botanical fibers and oils, Fresh Cab is safe around children, pets and livestock, and contains absolutely no poisons or toxic materials."

What we thought:
When we moved in to our new home it had been sitting empty for quite a while.  We didn't seem to have any rodent activity, but after about a month I moved the stove to sweep behind it and found a trail of dog food...uh oh!  We hadn't seen or heard any evidence off mice, but it was pretty obvious we had at least one:)  We tried the peanut butter-baited trap idea, but guess who LOVES peanut butter?  Our pup, Shiner!  We definitely didn't want him to get snapped, but we wanted the mouse gone.  We tried moving the stove a little caddy-corner (it's gas and doesn't fit flush with the wall) to block the trap, but I hated the look of that!  Luckily, we found Fresh Cab, a botanical rodent repellent that is pet-safe!

It does have a strong smell upon taking it out of it's package, but it's more perfumey and not a bad smell, just strong.  However, once we put the sachet behind the stove we couldn't smell it at all.  And the best news?  No more dog food trail!  I'm guessing the mouse found a new place to dine:)
I love knowing the repellent we are using keeps the rodents away and is safe enough to have in my home!
ABCD Diaries gives Fresh Cab an A+!
